I passed this shop countless times for years and have always wondered exactly what it was since I'm into vintage/antique items. I love all forms of art and have always been passionate about interior decorating, especially when utilizing antique, unique, or mid century furniture.
I still have not been here. I randomly decided to click (the store name) as I was initially looking for the nearby antique mall on the maps. After scrolling through the photos and reading the reviews, I really wish to stop by soon! Can't wait!
I was quickly able to tell this shop deserves 5 stars without even going. First of all, I'm a big fan of supporting local family businesses. All the better if they are kind, passionate people, and are useful to the community. (There is always a need for furniture and home decor)
Strictly from the reviews, the owners seemingly take much pride in running this unique & special shop. Additionally, prices appear to be fair and quite flexible, which is pretty uncommon with similar shops. If you find something you want but would like to change a bit to match your home furnishings, then they will go above and beyond by completely re-customizing a piece to the buyers' needs. I don't know if that is a regular service they offer. However, again, from reading reviews, I can tell they were more than accommodating to their customers' needs. That is first-class service.
From the photos, the larger majority of the household goods I saw were just classic and brilliant rare pieces that would bring so much character to any room. In addition, They all looked to be in exceptional condition. Contemporary Furniture is so ordinary and bland. Most people spend most of their time at home. A home should naturally be filled with charisma, a living space that sparks a great sense of bliss. If you want that special feeling through your furnishings that deliver a creative, artistic & entrancing feel, then "Vintage Repurposed" is the place to shop! Looking forward to...
Read moreWe have probably visited every MCM and antique store within a 100 miles, and feel so lucky to have Vintage Repurposed right in our backyard.
They have the best “mix” of high quality items. They always have a great selection of tables, lounge chairs, decor, and even lighting.
I also like how there are several staged “vignettes”. This helps to give you an idea of what the items will look like in your home. These are refreshed on a weekly basis, which has caused us to notice items that we had walked by a week before.
Jack is master at his craft, and Kim clearly has an eye for design. They are both extremely knowledgeable when it comes to American Mid Century Modern and Danish...
Read moreWe discovered Vintage Repurposed shortly after it opened about two years ago and have made several visits to the showroom since. The owners are a husband and wife team (Jack and Kim) and are super friendly and extremely knowledgable in all things MCM. The selection of mid century furniture, paintings, glass and pottery are astounding and accomodate a variety of price ranges. The furniture is immaculate and expertly refinished/restored on site by the husband and most chairs and couches are reupholstered before they make the showroom floor. We've purchased several pieces from them and always like to visit again and again to see what's new.
Check this place out, you...
