I used Hillside for a large party of over 100 people for catering. I spoke with them about options a few months prior and they were helpful in assisting me in ordering the correct amount of food. We finalized a great menu about 3 weeks ahead of the party and everything was made for an on-time pickup. We ordered brisket, sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, hot veggies, several cold salad trays, fruit tray and several party hoagies. Every guest filled their plates and some had seconds. We got so may comments about how tasty the food was and asking us who catered! It was all super high quality, presented professionally, and tasted amazing. Hillside Smokehouse truly exceeded my expectations! We're new to the area and were looking for a local butcher shop. Despite calling minutes before closing with a spoiled Boston butt emergency, they warmly invited me in and assisted me. Their service and knowledge of their products were remarkable; the house blend rub they recommended elevated my pulled pork to new heights. And let's talk about their ice cream – simply divine! Don't even get me started on their dilly pasta, it's a must-try. With an impressive array of meats, including unique offerings like gator filets and local bacon, Hillside Smokehouse has become my go-to for top-quality meals, meats, pastas ingredients and exceptional service....

Finally had the opportunity to try Hillside. Very friendly people. I’m finishing off the bologna as I’m writing this review and it is certainly unique and delicious. Nice and smokey like kielbasa, but still a solid consistency; soft, but not spongey. I rarely break away from my usual local bologna place, but hillside will now be on my list as well. The fact that you can get the rings warm just makes to much sense as well. I had my wife cut it up in the truck on the ride home. Also grabbed beer from Richmond farms as they had a table out front that day. Look forward to trying more...
