I had the pleasure of visiting "A Garden Party" in Elmer, New Jersey, and I must say it's a hidden gem in the heart of the Garden State. This full-service floral design studio is truly a paradise for anyone seeking exquisite wedding florals and event decor. But that's not all - it's a one-stop-shop for various other delights too!
First and foremost, their floral creations are a work of art. Whether you're planning a wedding or any special event, their team's attention to detail and creativity shine through in every arrangement. The flowers are not just decorations; they are a testament to the passion and expertise of the florists.
What sets "A Garden Party" apart is its diverse range of offerings. They go beyond the world of flowers to offer an array of home decor items, essential oils, chocolates, and candles. It's a perfect place to find unique gifts or elevate the ambiance of your own space. The chocolates, in particular, are a delightful indulgence.
One event that truly caught my attention is their "Farm to Table" experience scheduled for September 15 at 6 PM. This promises to be an enchanting evening, featuring a seven-course meal and live music. With a farmhouse-style setting, it's bound to be an unforgettable gathering that encapsulates the charm of the countryside.
In summary, "A Garden Party" is more than just a floral design studio; it's a haven of creativity, quality, and sophistication. Whether you're looking for wedding florals, home decor, or a memorable dining experience, this place has it all. Don't miss their upcoming event; it's an opportunity to savor farm-fresh delights in a picturesque setting. Read moreSeemed very nice and professional, but 5 months after we agreed on terms, they terminated my fiancees account because they couldn't have their "creative freedom" that they needed, after deposit was received, and contract was created. She Told us to create a Pinterest account to get ideas from there, but contradicts itself because they don't like to be told what to create? I'm not a wedding expert, but I'm almost positive most brides like to create their own display because it's THEIR special day. Rather then be surprised when they walk up to the venue. It is a good thing that we planned so far ahead, we still have a year before the wedding. I can't imagine if this happened a couple months before the wedding, because not every couple plans this far in advance. If they can throw away a 5,000$ job, 5 months in to the contract, more power to them. After researching it was obvious that this happened for a reason. We found another company that could fulfill our needs, and deliver us a spectacular arrangement that we will remember forever.
So at the end of the day, I am very pleased A Garden Party terminated our contract.
If you are looking to get married and want to be totally surprised and don't want to know what your arrangement will look like until you show up on your wedding day, and just sort of wing your whole wedding day...... A Garden Party is for you, best of luck fellow...
Read moreAfter visiting the venue, we intended to book it and asked for a contract. But when we got the contract, it included a 20% “Labor Fee” which was previously undisclosed–not mentioned during our tour, in the brochure, or on the website. Additionally, the 20% wasn’t based just on the rental fee, but was based on the rental fee + bathroom trailer rental cost + refundable damage waiver. When I called to say I was caught off guard by the fee and asked what it was for, Jessica (who gave us the tour) said it’s required and covers the party attendant, set up, and clean up. In addition to the charge not being disclosed earlier, it also does not seem justified. The base price indicates that an attendant is included, and we would expect that set up and clean up would be as well. Additionally, we are planning a casual event with a food truck, not an elaborate wedding. Jessica ultimately offered to lower the Labor Fee to 15% and apologized for the “misunderstanding”. There clearly was no misunderstanding. We are not sure if it was an oversight or a bait and switch, but it was unprofessional, and we were disappointed by Jessica’s response. Needless to say, we did not sign...
