Small roadside BBQ joint. Stopped to grab a bite while passing through, and it was the best brisket I've had in a long time! So tender, it was falling apart and melting in my mouth. At 17$ for a brisket sandwich, I thought it was a little too pricey, considering it came with nothing. Not even a little cole slaw, which they did have as a side for an additional 5$. That said, the portion was huge. Im pretty sure there was a full pound of meat on my sandwich. I would have taken a pic but i couldn't wait to take a bite. The guy cut 3 full slices off the brisket, then cut those in half and stacked it high on the roll. I thought there was no way i could eat the whole thing, but it was so good I had to eat every bite. The only downside is that the place is like a shack, not much to look at, and nowhere to sit down. Perfect for takeout, though. I...

Stopped at a food truck I have seen at the gas station ( cheapest gas in the area btw), and decided to give it a try. I got a breakfast sandwich which he apparently recently added to his menu options. I will return to try the BBQ or ribs or chicken... The owner was super friendly, not intimidating for this old gal to check out😉. The sandwich came on a potato roll, 2 eggs topped with cooper cheddar cheese, sliced bacon , all made on the grill. It was wrapped in foil and came with a bottle of water( maybe his kindness, not certain if it always does). That was $7.00. So I would not get the bacon- it was very chewy and so not enjoyable. Maybe a bit $$. I look forward to trying the barbecue which apparently...

My husband and I stopped here while visiting PA and I can’t say enough great things about the food! The pulled pork sandwich and smoked brisket sandwiches were loaded with meat, served on a soft roll, and topped with delicious sauce that perfectly complemented the meat perfectly.

I also appreciated the fact that care was taken for food safety and gloves worn and changed between tasks.

We live in NJ, but will honestly be back just for the BBQ!

There are beautiful parks nearby with picnic tables by the water to enjoy...
