Summer is beautiful in this area. I don't own a boat anymore but still love visiting the area. Weekends can get a bit crowded with people and vehicles at the dock, but there always seems to be plenty of room on the water. There is also a small beach area that is popular with parents and their young ones. I'm a long way from being young anymore, but I still like to wade in the cool mountain water on a hot day.
