The school was very neat and clean, and during the tour, I was greeted by warm, welcoming, and polite staff, including the owner. However, there were two concerns I had: my infant wouldn’t be allowed to use a sleep sack, and despite having cameras, parents could only access them seven times a day for two minutes each. While these issues stood out, they didn’t outweigh the many positive aspects I observed during the tour.

After visiting several schools, there was something about this one that made me want to move forward. I was transitioning back to work after maternity leave and communicated that I would have the deposit ready on Wednesday, when I received my first paycheck. Unfortunately, the demeanor of the staff changed drastically after this conversation. They became rude, unprofessional, and condescending.

I even received an email from the owner with bolded words, emphasizing that Wednesday was the deadline, or my daughter would be disenrolled. This behavior felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Expressing my concerns about the administrative staff’s behavior only seemed to escalate things, as the owner exhibited similar condescension in her responses.

At that point, I realized I didn’t need childcare badly enough to entrust my child to an organization with such poor customer service and communication. The polite and professional demeanor they display online and during the tour was completely different from their actual behavior.

My 5 year old has been attending Kiddie Academy in New Market since she's 16 months old, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We are bracing for the day we need to leave the school, as the staff and teachers have been such a strong and supportive community throughout the years. The staff is incredibly attentive, transparent, and friendly. The facility is clean and well-maintained throughout the year, and there are plenty of activities to keep the children engaged and most importantly, learning! My daughter is especially proud to tell us the theme of the week and show us her classroom everyday, which is always decorated beautifully full of crafts, sight words, "What we have learned" charts, a family tree and so much more. I also appreciate the regular updates, photos, and video access that the daycare provides, which keep me informed about my child's day. It is reassuring to see her progress and know that she is in a nurturing environment that supports her readiness for Kindergarten and the years to follow. Kiddie Academy is simply incredible! Looking for a daycare is stressful and just plain scary. Bottom line, we all want the best for our children. We want to keep them safe, find a place that they will thrive, and help them grow! From our first interaction with Kiddie Academy, we were put at ease. Almost 3 years later, there isn’t anywhere else I’d want my kids. The teachers are kind, helpful, and patient. They each put so much time and effort into creating fun activities that help the kids learn and grow! The director, owner, front staff, and teachers always encourage questions and concerns.
