Oates' Country Store — Local services in Vacaville

Lived in the main town area of Vacaville all my life and decided to try their deli since it gets a lot of hype. Instead I was greeted by a very rude deli employee that seemed annoyed and aggravated I was ordering 2 sandwiches at a time. I asked her if that was okay and she rolled her eyes saying "Yeah I guess so. What do you want?". I ordered my sandwiches with everything on it because I did not want to aggravate her more. Found out her name is Linda and she has been there 20 years. Not sure what the attitude problem is but I'm sure I'm not the first to have a bad experience with her. Been going to Oates since the 70s I was probably Five or six when I would go straight to the ice cream for a frozen snow cone🍧, years would pass and it would be a trip to Oates to rent a movie🎬🍿 riding dirt bikes down to grab fuel (candy, sodas etc) loved when the Deli went in 🥪 and it is by far the Best place to grab a sandwich, chips and the occasional huge Dilled pickle🥒. Great Country Store. It's amazing the amount of grocery and store items they carry. The Deli is great with homemade potatoe salad, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, bagels with cream cheese, and the sandwiches are always amazing... Nice people ...
