Graduation rate listed online was not quite 25%....if this is true only 1in 4 who enroll will actually graduate from there. Also if you have a learning disability they give a great print out (sarcasm) that’s longer than most job applications and from there you do online enrollment for services and then submit supporting documents.....just a little hint some people with learning disabilities will find this process so daunting they just don’t ask for help. Also, if the roster for the class shows more than 1/2 drop and some of the remaining are students are still struggling you may want to look beyond the students.....but then again if they repeat the course you make money so I can see where their failure may be profitable for you. And last note....I called to talk to the program chair about problems with a biology class but that was no help. After looking at her desk today I understand why she can’t help with student problems. It was probably one of the most disorganized desk I have ever seen, stacked beyond capacity. I can’t imagine how she can run a program if she can’t manage a desk. This may sound harsh but so many young people are struggling with unnecessary college debt. I taught college for two years and where I worked students are priority, I just can’t wrap my brain around the complacency and lack of genuine concern. Not all of the faculty there are bad, in fact some are great but the few bad apples make you never want to shake...
Read moreThe teachers are fantastic and great 1 on 1 I passed all my classes but, this school lied they really don't care, they don't care about u, if u don't have money they don't care you still have to pay your debts, if it's not one thing it's another, first of all they messed up on my registration, than my moodle, than my gmc email account, than they gave me the run around especially financial aid they would only explain 10% of the information on the form than send u off, and financial aid made me do so many things, and when I had a problem with my account they would just look at me dumbfounded, shrug their shoulders, and act so flabbergasted whenever I asked for help and when I told them I'm not coming back due to difficulties dealing with financial aid the woman just shrugged her shoulders and said okay, I've never been so frustrated and stressed out in my life...
Read moreI plan to graduate in December. It has been a hard road but they are more helpful when people are willing to help themselves. I have only had problems when I call in to their call center or take online classes. When I go in to the school, it is much easier. Everyone that works there is very informative. Only problem is that they do not offer all classes, even some that are required, in a class room. I failed econ 4 times (macro and micro) because they do not have a teacher that is in Valdosta. I also failed Spanish II because they did not offer it in class. The offer math and English help after class to ensure all students are given the chance to succeed. The professors are great. I have my favorites but feel free to...
