Kansas International Dragway — Local services in Valley Center

Great racers always at the events. Too bad the track cant organize anything. Last 2 no preps they ran out of food half day. This year 2 of the 6 food trucks showed up and they told non tailgaters no grills, which was quite worrisome. Tailgate parking spots weren't marked and we had to chase down an employee that saw us and turned the other way to get directed to our spot, despite being assured there would be people parking us. Tons of non VIP pass buyers on VIP side, so why charge some people more? Oh and the owner can only deny responsibility and insult anyone that has a single complaint about their events. And the responses from the page to direct messages and inquiries are even worse responses.

Morale of the story here kids, wait until Arkansas city gets their track opened back up and let this shitshow...

We attended the International Speedway's Christmas Lights event, and it was AWESOME 😎👍!!! They charged by vehicle (not by person), so I got myself, my wife, and all 3 of my kids in for less than $20 - which is a price very hard to find for the whole family anywhere. And you have to buy your ticket online. The whole ordeal took about 20 mins, you basically drive up & down the speedway and they have Christmas Lights creating little scenes on both sides. They also have a short range radio station set up for the FM Radio for music to help with the ambience. It was a lot of fun, my young ones especially enjoyed it - their favorite was the two light tunnels we went through. Well worth the price - especially knowing most of the money is going to a good cause. We'll be back...

My husband and friends love coming out here to spend some time at the races. You can sit in the stands or stand by the fence to feel those engines rumble. Bring a blanket if you sit in the bleachers & want to have a little more comfort. You are allowed to bring your cooler & beer. Also, bring ear plugs if you don't like the engine noise. It is VERY loud! Otherwise, they are going to cost you $3 at the snack bar. The snack bar is really good for snack bar food! Their Frito Chili pies are good. The service is quicker than you would think when you get in line. It moves fast. I would say to use the bathroom at the snack bar. Entrance is on the right side of the building when you are facing it. If you have to use a Port-O-Potty, I feel bad for you. They get pretty...
