The product on our truck was supposed to be non fade pearl white and was sold as such. I contacted the supplier and they said they do not sell pearl white non fade, only white. I emailed the company pictures of the truck. I went in and talked to Joel and he had all his staff present during the conversation when during it, and after several attempts already made by my husband and son to rectify issues have not been done, even after they spent time in the shop ordering parts only to be told weeks later, they didn't have an order and so I could go on, mentioned I had spoken to some attorney friends of mine who all made the same recommendation, that we obtain their insurance information and handle directly through them. Joel immediately went on the defense, disrespectfully and unwarranted and made an attempt to intimidate by saying he was in law enforcement. (I too carry a CLEET card.) He ended the visit by telling me I was crazy. The man who put the product on our truck could not say why our truck turned color but offered the possibility that my son might have driven down a dirt road. It is remarkable that the lines would be so perfect, dirt would be spotty sir. I do not believe that there was honesty for one minute, nor would I recommend this business after the way I was treated and after my husband and son have been lied to. WE GRACIOUSLY paid for wheels we didn't order and that were more expensive for their convenience, not ours. Joel wants to simply run white paint over the top, that would be a bandaid to the damage done. The purpose was to have a no maintenance, durable product on the vehicle that was PEARL WHITE. All but the front end is turning a wierd yellowish color, when we got it it was white. The supplier said over time, it will eventually turn rust. For persons thinking of putting on a gray product, know now I learned it will turn green, (that was free.) The supplier said they NEVER paint vehicles white. His own professional with regards to the product, who put it on our truck and was present, stated he didn't know why it turned white, so instead of Joel questioning me about my knowledge of the product, his staff might need further training. If you do a job, you are responsible. I will attempt to put up photos at some point. Instead of taking responsibility for a job went wrong, I had to listen to the Joel show, all his life accomplishments and insulting me and my husband who has done nothing wrong and was irrelevant to solving the issue at hand.
Also, note their product is not Line-X. If they should tell you it is, let the Tulsa Line-X...
Read moreFirst let me say "Joel Smith of Auto Definitions in Claremore is a vehice customization master." I had an incredible experience and can't recommend them enough. I brought in my 2023 Ford Explorer XLT to have a spotlight installed, and from start to finish, the team exceeded my expectations. They were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their work. Other so-called professionals said it couldn't be done because it was to hard. That's what sets Joel apart. Joel takes the time to thoroughly research and set into action a plan to accomplish tasks others either cant or wont. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff took the time to understand exactly what I needed and gave me a few different options for spotlight placement, wiring, and control setup. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I was comfortable with the process before moving forward. The installation was done quickly and flawlessly. The wiring was clean and hidden, the spotlight was mounted perfectly, and everything functions just as I wanted. It looks like it came factory-installed, which really speaks to their level of craftsmanship. What impressed me even more was the overall atmosphere of the shop—friendly, organized, and focused on customer satisfaction. They clearly take pride in their work, and it shows. Whether you're needing lighting upgrades, tint, wraps, or audio work, Auto Definitions is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back for...
Read more5 Stars for Auto Definitions: Tinting Our RV during record freezing temps!
If you're looking for the absolute best in window tinting, you have to check out Auto Definitions in Claremore. We recently had our Leisure Travel RV tinted there, and it was an experience that deserves five stars.
Here's why:
I had made an appointment to have the windows tinted a couple weeks ahead of time. When I made the appointment there was no way to know that we were about to hit record low temperatures and snow, effectively shutting down many businesses.
I was able to make my way to Auto Definitions, but didn’t consider that they may not be open.
As it turns out the person who was supposed to do the tinting had a burst pipe emergency and couldn’t come in.
As I was getting ready to leave, the owner came out and offered to open up the shop and do the work himself. (I learned that he was up all night helping with the snowpocalypse and was sleep deprived)
Now, onto the actual tint job. It's flawless! The lines are crisp, the tint is evenly applied, and everything looks absolutely perfect. Our RV looks sleek, cool, and way more comfortable on the inside.
If you're in the Claremore area and need any window tinting done, head to Auto Definitions and let them take care of your ride. You won't be...
