Dollar General — Local services in Valley View

I always go to the dollar general because its the closest store I csn get what I need being in a small town we don't have agrocery store. But this valley view location is amazing. They have the vast customer service and always try to ho out of their way to help you. Shelly is absolutely amazing. She is always so nice and makes you feel at home when you visit the store. She is the reason I keep coming back. Keep up the amazing job you are doing. 👏 I also had a very sweet cashier today 8/21/25 at 8:19am. The receipt days Marcus. Although I am not sure that was her name. She was another amazing employee of dollar general!! They both deserve major props. Very friendly ladies indeed!! 😉😊🤗

I went in there today around 5:30 p.m. there was a new kid behind the register and give or take 15-20 ppl in line. Customers would get as far as the door and turn around and leave. The isles were full of uboats and very little on the shelves that I could see. The new kid had help but he might as well have been by himself because the other guy was sitting in the office. Which is normal in this store. It's a shame that now days it's extremely hard to find good help. That's why companies SETTLE! Stopped in for glass cleaner. The store was big but cluttered from old product.the staff was friendly but not very helpful. I told the employee we needed glass cleaner for our vehicle windshield, she took us to home goods, I ended up finding it myself in automotive section.
