Givorns Foods — Local services in Valley

The Fairfax Givorns is convenient to where I live, so I go in there fairly often when I don't have time or inclination to go all the way to Walmart or Kroger. The weekly sale prices are usually pretty good, but over the last few years the quality of the meat department has really gone downhill. The very worst part of going to Givorns, though, is having to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke when entering and leaving the store, because employees stand right outside the doors to smoke. I I showed up at 9:50 PM and I get it the store closes soon, but I'm met at the door by someone who says "there are ten people in here so I have to say we are closed". As an establishment your closing time is the time you close the doors to anyone coming in not 10 minutes prior too closing which, I told the individual that I would be in there to grab two ribeyes which I know exactly where they are and I would be in line before the actual closing time. I’ve came to this location a total of THREE TIMES, each time was very unpleasant and unwelcoming! You can tell that they don’t cater for PEOPLE of color , and they just TOLERATE them !!! Each time I have went there has been 1 to NONE People of COLOR!! Needless to say, I applied for employment, went talked to the manager and she was RUDE, called and she was RUDE!!! It’s sad in this day of age it’s STILL racial discrimination and ISSUES!! But these companies and organizations have no problem taking your MONEY,Swiping your debit card or snap benefits card!!
