I live in Brooklyn, NY but my family lives nearby here so I've driven by for years. I love books and I don't know why I didn't come in sooner. Finally last weekend I stopped in. What a find! This store is packed with used books in good condition as well as a great stock of antique books. It's so cozy and warm. The proprietor is a lovely woman who clearly loves books as well. I left with 4 books and 3 teacup and saucer sets. I would have bought more but needed to get everything in my suitcase! The more contemporary books were priced well and were in great condition. I was able to buy both fiction and nonfiction. They were also kind enough to ship my purchase to my home (I was only traveling in the area and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get them into my carry on!) which was extremely helpful. Laurie (who I THINK is the owner - at any rate she's been there 90% of the times that I've dropped in) is a super sweet lady who is incredibly knowledgeable about authors and titles, and I really enjoy chatting with her during my visits.
