We hauled a load of recycled paper to Pratt Industries in Valparaiso, IN on 04/03/2019. The trailer that we took was brand new at the time. While being unloaded at Pratt in the Fiber Receiving Department, they did $3,428.38 worth of damages to the trailer. We have reached out to try to get this resolved now for almost 3 months, and have gotten the run around ever since. We first started at the Fiber Receiving Dept., they told us that this "was not their issue, call the Scalehouse," emailed, called and sent information, told that they have nothing to do with that. After wasting a week's time going back and forth at the actual Mill, I decided to try to contact someone at the corporate level. I received an email from Nicole Leckrone, saying that she would help us out, to get her all of the information/quote to fix, etc. and that they would see what they could do. I sent everything over, and nothing has happened. I have been told numerous times, "I am driving today, I will contact you tomorrow", and never heard anything back. It is one thing to just come right out and say you know what sorry we aren't going to do anything and another to flat out waste our time for 3 months with a laundry list of meaningless excuses that are just to make them look like they are doing us a favor. I attached pictures to show the extent of the damage. Now 3 months and $3,428.38 later we are resorting to writing a review in hopes to prevent someone else from having the same problems. Needless to say for the how much the loads pay going to Pratt it is not worth the headaches you get from the lack of attention and integrity they show those keeping their...
Read moreEvery couple of years, I send in a truck to load here. I am always hoping they have changed and can load a truck in a hour or two. And every time I regret my decision. The other day we sent in a truck and they were only loading ALL OUTBOUND shipments out of one dock! Almost five hours to get loaded. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are making a ton of money and can take your 10 hour break on site. Not sure how places like Pratt find carriers, but the fact they mostly use brokers should tell you everything you...

Its juni 21, 8:00 am and we are still not loaded yet. 11 drivers and you are making them wait 16 hours which clearly shows their respect...
