The people that work, the security at the scale are rude as hell a security person coming into work stopped by my truck as I was putting on my boots and my jacket to prepare to get on the scale so when you go in there, you know you have all your equipment on cause I wanna see you in your PPE and she told me I couldn’t park there. I said all these years I’ve been coming here and no one said a word you would think they would have something better to do than harass a truck driver trying to get ready to come in here and pick up a coil but no, they don’t and then the guy proceeded to chastise me as if I was a schoolboy or his child. I just finished driving two hours which is about 100 miles to get here you know without stopping sometimes you have to use the bathroom, etc, and Sometimes you have to put your work clothes on you know so you can not be told to go back to your truck and get your PPE on, but they didn’t care and the no sign it says I can’t stop on that road and put boots on put my shirt on get my hat ready get my glasses and all that stuff doesn’t see it all but yet they chastise you. I didn’t come here to be chastised, by the security of something That’s not even in policy cause no one showed me a policy. No one showed me a memo. There are no signs saying you can’t stop there and do that other than them. That’s harassment over something small. I can see if I was parked there in 30 minutes. 20 minutes an hour, but it took me about two minutes. Three minutes to put on a pair of boots put a shirt on get my safety glasses in my hard hat and then drive up there to the scale come on. I just feel like they can treat you how they want treat you with no respect. And then I tried to explain to him and her what I was doing and I didn’t care and they were smart about it; stating stopping is stopping if you stop for one minute that's parked. I didn’t come here for that and yes it piss me off. Bunch of wanna be cops they are mad cause are doing this type job or whatever in a pissy ass mood so they take it out on...

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. The security has the attitude and rude. (If you check the reviews, all the first time comers/loaders give 1 star and experience drivers give 4-5.)

if you want smooth operation:

1- You can check in 30 minutes before and after the appointment. If your appointment is at 4 pm, you better be in line at 3:30 pm. There are always 8-9 trucks ahead of you.

2- Take your pick up no starting with 106 and license with you.

3- Make sure that you have all your PPE with you even the safety glasses to the security. . 4- If you are taking overweight load, don't forget to take your permit to show them.

5- The security man/woman will ask your pick up no. Give the number and then follow the screen on the right side.

6- Place your license to the slot under the screen. When the machine scans the license, your name will appear.

7- You suppose to answer correct to the 3 questions on the screen. If you make one mistake,you will be banned 24 hours. . 8- Don't forget, if you miss any of above, your day is over. You can't make any phone call from security booth, can't go to your truck to pick anything. When you are in, get out with the gate pass. Otherwise, your appointment is canceled.

9- If you have all of above, smooth operation, in and out. If it is your first time like me, be ready to waste your one day.

10- There is a truck stop (Buckeye Truck Stop) 2 miles away from the plant. No need to get upset, drive there and wait for the next day.

11- Don't expect anything good from the security. They are not human and give any value to...

I have been driving since 2015 I've never had trouble with any other shipper other than this location. Is the responsibility of the shipper to check trucks in and make sure they get loaded on time according to their appointment it is not the shippers responsibility to enforce how the trucking companies or how the truck drivers secure their load it is their responsibility to know and they're liable once that coil hits the deck of their trailer they are responsible.
