As bad as you can get. Probably not as bad as Swift. Trucks are terrible, routes are horrific, Fleet managers are idiots. A few people are cool like my trainer Bubba. I could go on about the pay or lack there of and benefits pretty much non existant, but suffice it to say, this company is disgraceful. One extra star from one star because they kept me moving as long as I used my time wisely. I was one of their hardest running drivers is why. For an entrance company into truck driving, you could probably do a lot better.
Well.... they're a starter company, plain and simple. People with experience would stay FAR away from here. Forget about school loan repayment. Just get in and get out ASAP. Find a real company.
I'll get into more detail here:
Do they keep you moving? Absolutely, yes. But at the cost of the crappiest loads EVER. hahahah You'll bust your butt picking up a horribly complicated load in what seems like a third world warzone and FINALLY get scaled and out of there and then they'll relay you to another load which is even worse than the last one. So you did all the hard work of the first load, giving some other dude the good miles, while the second load you now have to take is the tale end of the load leaving you 200 miles before waiting and picking up again. Now, you've spent 2 days on 3 loads doing all the hard work for 300 miles and no you're stuck in New York...... great. That is USA truck in a nutshell.
Getting repaired? Good luck with that. You'll be shut down for weeks if you're trying to go to a terminal to get repaired.
Pay? Lowest in the industry.
Room for growth? Not really. I knew a guy that was a team trainer that had a dedicated from ohio to laredo, but he was there like 15 years or something.
Good trucks? Equipment? Ya, trucks were ok. No complaints.Trailers don't get retired untill the wheels fall off and the trailer metal is grinding the interstate....
HOME TIME? Hell no. 3-4 days off a month and they'll be calling you while you're off bugging you. Even if you're sick, they'll hoorang you into doing a load. Say goodbye to any social life. Other drivers will lie their ass off to get hometime.... and guess who's stuck picking up and delivering their load for them after they already got the good miles? Ya you... and do they leave the weight scale ticket and BOL's in the bubble? NO
Dispatch? Daytime guys can be cool when they pickup, but will NEVER do anything you ask. They have a certain "route" which I call the gauntlet and they don't differ from that route. No matter what you say, you just get what you get until you put in your 3+ years. I've spent hours on hold. They just don't care.
Nighttime dispatch is a JOKE, they'll hang up on you seriously.
Communication? hahhahahahahahahahahahahha. Next question.... lol
Qualcomm? Ya, new guys get the crappy huge box qualcomm, but surprisingly, USA Truck has a pretty damn good layout for the qualcomm. Route instructions are pretty darn right most of the time and the functions just make really good sense.
Paid miles? The actual miiles are neverr right. They pay "as the crow flies" miles hahaha.
Detension, layover, repair pay? No, No and NO. You're screwed buddy. You get paid for driving the freight ONLY.
Finding an empty and treatment of other drivers? Other drivers will hide trailers, leaving you screwed for a whole day. Your dispatch might find you one, whcih is cool.
Regular washes? Yes, once a month they wash the truck and trailer. Pretty standard.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas a bad experience all the way around. I drove 3.5 hrs one way to orientation to Dayton Ohio location to get a nasty hotel room. Days Inn Huber Heights Ohio. Checked in room 220 filthy stinky and not cleaned. Went straight to front desk they put me in room 126 and it looked as if someone used the restroom in the tub. I was furious and went home. They apologized and said oh come back we will get you a nice hotel, and reimburse your fuel... that was the deal me coming back a second time this week. Came back they kept their word on a clean hotel. Red Roof Inn Dayton Ohio very clean and nice! However I was in orientation for Wednesday through Friday. They emphasized safety safety safety!!! On Friday I completed all the tasks asked of me. I get my truck, now mind you there is only 3 of us in this class... I felt because I was a smoker they gave me the crappiest truck they had. I get it, smokers leave the trucks filthy and stinky, however I DONT smoke in my home or truck! That truck is my home away from home!!! But no I was segregated due to being a smoker, my classmate whom wasnāt a smoker got a nice clean truck! So never the less I said to myself nothing but a bunch of cleaning canāt fix. Well I did my walk around and marked everything on the sheet as told to do so, but when I talked to the shop they had every excuse in the book not to fix this that or the other. I am livid at this point. Tires needed to be changed the truck was out of alignment clearly by the chopped tires, but oh I can supposedly get another 20,000 miles before I need new tires. Just because I am a woman didnāt mean Iām stupid when it comes to maintenance!!! The one tire gets hot there was potential hazards in my opinion! None the less I have the truck in the shop awaiting the repairs they did approve, meanwhile I get with Brooke for my reimbursement she promised would be back to my by Friday, she said oops I forgot to overnight it. Gives me some kind of excuses said she would overnight it to my house like ok wow I wonāt be home for two weeks how will that help. Then she said get with your fleet manager for an advance. Well Melissa the fleet manager was not nice about it tried saying she couldnāt do that then said she would have to activate my card, by this time I said forget it. I donāt like being lied to, I donāt like being mistreated when I up to this point have been more than professional and patience! I go to turn in my stuff the one guy Rob was polite tried to fix things to get me to stay, and I said I just want to go home... Charles on the other hand was rude! Smart mouth! He said I signed for this stuff they have nothing to do with it I had to contact my fleet manager... what a waste of time money and efforts. One donāt lie to me! Two donāt segregate me! Finally practice what you preach if your safety oriented then change a $300 tire to save you thousands down the road!!!!! Iām sure they will have something to put on my record left orientation left truck at terminal something. Same song and dance just a different name on the side of the truck! I am beyond disgusted and disappointed.... yea by the way Brooke thank you for lies the second time. You didnāt overnight it again. I was home by Saturday and it wasnāt there. I hope your happy with yourself and your lies!!!!!!! This company has made me rethink wether or not I even want to drive truck...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis company has unrealistic policies and itās just unfair. Itās too strict for it to not even be a sought after company. Walmart HEB Kroger ETC those company have the right to be strict not db Schenker. This company is at the bottom of the totem pole. I hate it here. Itās literally like walking on egg shells. They will ruin you CDL they will fire you for small things. They literally watch the camera. The government need to regulate cameras usage and get European companies out of America. I value my state of mind over money and with this job Iām loosing my mind. All it takes is 1 mess up by one I mean stoping over the white line at a red light mess up and your ganna get a call. Not to mention the micro managing is awful. The trucks donāt have APUs but has the never to have the idle shut down? Most companies have APUs with idle shut down or no APU with no idle shut down. This company is CHEAP. The lytx score is so dumb. You canāt get over 50 points. Why not 100? They look for ways to hire you and to destroy your cdl and itās sucks. I feel stuck here. I had 67 points apparently and was never told and when I was normally itās strike 1 and if it happens againt strike 2. No these morons gave me strike 1 and 2 all at once which isnāt fair they gave me 1 and 2 because they failed to notify me. I hate the company. Iāve never had so many problems with any company not even prime Inc was this anal about anything. DO NOT WORK HERE IM BEGGING YOU. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Donāt do it please. As of 4/12/25 Iām still employed by this sorry ass company and Iām working on leaving. I can keep doing this to myself. Iām...
