This place reminds me of a speak easy. They have 2 pools tables,I believe there 6 ft,so deep pockets and narrow. Also 2 soft tip dart bored,I also seen a poker table set up,different seating areas with relaxing chairs,a decent selection of cigars and something like 300 different beers. The place is very nice, clean, the furniture is spaced nicely so the space doesn't come across as being small. Like I said in the beginning this place reminds me of a new age speakeasy. So my reason for only giving it 3 stares is,so I've been there 3 to 4 times now. There is a guy that works the bar that is not the owner (I don't believe) he makes sure to walk around,he talks to everyone,as well as brings beers and keeps everything picked up. So everytime I have been there,I literly can stand at the bar, with money in my hand and the owner and his wifey(or I believe it to be his wife) will be standing behind the bar having a conversation with someone, look right at me,and still keep on with there conversation as i stand there and wait for the other guy to walk back up there. Now from personal experience as ive worked in many bars, been a server at different types of restaurants and I would never allow a customer to stand at the bar waiting to get a drink. Unfortunately I also need to add that each time I waited for atleast 5 min or longer. 2 of the times the beers cost me one price and the other 2 a different price. I'm not sure if maybe it was the different times I was there or what for why the prices where different.. So all in all,I think the place is nice. The owner and his wife seem like really nice and cool people, the other gentleman that works there is extremely nice, makes sure you always have a cold one in your hand. Only down side, the owner needs to pay more attention to the customers . I wish them good luck and I'll gladly do another review in a few weeks and see how...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my co-worker came here early in the morning to grab some good stogies that we would be able to enjoy during our lunch. We have customers that recommended we go there for their vast selection of cigars however, a large selection means nothing if all of your cigars are dry. Although the bar area looked nice the seating area appeared very cramped but back to my earlier point. The door to the humidor was wide open with two measly humidifiers. Me and my co-worker bought two cigars each with the intent on smoking one of them right away. The cap cracked and ruined my smoking experience not to mention the cigar was dry and sour. To wrap things up don't use fake names (all have references to cigars)on your fake 5 star reviews it's extremely suspicious to also use oddly similar wording on all of said reviews they are all obvious lies to advertise for your mediocre (at best) business it's sad because it's one of the few options that people have here in Venice. I hope the owner sees this and improves i don't want the cigar culture to continue to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this lounge since it first opened. At that time the counter was made of plywood and the liquor license hadnāt been approved yet. Since that time, everything has come together and it has become a terrific spot. Neal and Saba and Joe and other staff are very friendly, and have worked extremely hard to make this place the best cigar lounge in Venice and beyond. The counter and leather recliners are top notch, as is the fantastic beer offerings. Theyāve added pool tables, darts and several wide screen televisions. Recently, we are now able to sit outdoors in a serene and private setting out back. Iāve saved perhaps the best for lastāthe large humidor has an extensive array of quality cigars for all tastes and choices. If they donāt carry your particular brand, Neal will order some for you. This place is getting better all the time, and I always look forward to...
