Me and my 8 year old son along with his GMA go to the pool every single summer. It’s important to make your reservations a few weeks in advance. The pool usually gets sold out the day of , but if you call to check if there are any openings you might just get in due to someone canceling , the same goes for their swimming lessons. …. I love this spot for spending time during summer break because guests can bring picnic snacks , as long as nothing is in glass & no alcohol. You should bring your own towel and shower shoes , the facility has multiple showers and changing areas inside and out, plenty of bathrooms with private showers and lockers to keep your things safe (just bring your own lock) the shower room has a swimsuit dryer which I love ! The outside area has plenty of space for guest to lounge on chairs tables and even grass areas . There are two water slides , and two main water pools on different sides, and a children’s area water attraction, the kids love it ! Plenty of lifeguards on duty at all times , & every half hour the staff does a wellness check so everyone must exit the pools for 5 mins , which I don’t mind , I can reapply my sunscreen, snack on something, and check in with my family. The facility has a lost and found chest next to the safety jacket rack , that being the red and blue adults and children sizes hanging and open for everyone to freely use ( just remember to put back when finished for others to use) 🙂 And Lastly , you can reserve bday party events : towards the back with plenty of benches and grass area near the slides, I’ve even seen a party have pawl patrols mascots there , you can brig pizza ,coolers , cake, ; basically your own food & decorations . I hope this helped...

Read moreThis park has been very, very appealing over the past 3 years; ever since I moved here from Canoga Park. I love being able to relax either morning or late afternoons. I feel safer now that they have fixed the walkway lights....only half of them were working for several months, so that was cause for concern. That problem has been taken care of over the weeks, and I am grateful for that. The only concern I still have is the fact that dogs are able to run loose, without their leashes, and I have STOPPED taking my little min-pins over there because of it. When I questioned the elderly gentlemen driving the Police Volunteer Van, they simply told me that every dog owner in Ventura thinks that there is on "Off The Leash" policy wherever they go. This is not true; signs are posted to keep you dog on a leash. In addition, over the past week I have noticed chalk reminders on the walk way to pick up after your dog. I wish I could shake the hand of the man or woman who came up with this idea. The park has a MAJOR dog poopy situation - I guess they feel if no one is looking then they can get away with it. That is the only thing that really disgusts me about this park, the lack of respect for others and not caring enough about your beloved pet. Other than the doggy situations, for which are definitely the owners responsibility, this place is just beautiful any...
