We went in on a sat after being turned down at other dealerships and went in thinking well proably get turned down here but before we went i called a he'd and spoke with someone in finacing and they were of course very welcoming and informative over the phone so we chose to go ahead and drive to Claremore.
Once we showed up and was welcomed we began chatting with a gentleman and he happened to be the guy we spoke to on the phone so we stood there spoke for a little while and after he explained the process we were handed off to salesman.
The process of being SOLD a rv was awesome the man was very informative very relaxed and I felt was being very honest with us etc etc. There was no trying to get us into a bigger camper or any kind of upscale at all heck he even let's us take the golf cart and drive around and look at all the campers there were in our price range.
So great now we have our rv and we come to pick it up. It was a fantastic process they had a gentlemen shows us everything on our rv and how to operate it etc. That was awesome and it really felt like they were committed to making sure we were familiar with our new toy before taking it home .
So now we're home and took it camping the very next weekend and it was awesome until a brace for a bunk bed broke and then a drain under the kitchen sink started leaking a little bit and some cocking around the tub had come loose. Well I was disappointed so I called daves explained what has happened and their reply was bring it in a's soon as you can and we'll do what we need to do to make it right. Well we dropped it off Sunday and it was ready by Tuesday. Very fast
Well now the rv is home and well I went to plug up at home and noticed the 30 amp plug was missing it's ground and the NEW battery won't hold a charge so today march 27th 2017 I'm calling them to get it fixed and I hope it goes as smooth as it did when we took it in for those previous repairs. Excellent experience so far and will always recommend daves rv
(Update) thanks for the response and I'm glad to have seen one. Our TT is currently there with you guys getting some things fixed on it for the second time. The other botton bunk brace needs fixed, the battery does not hold a charge, the other support board for the dinette needs to have another one cut to its proper length and after picking up our TT and bringing it back home we found out the ground prong for the cord to use shore power was missing but W saying that I simply called was asked to make a list and when droped off everything will be looked at so that's what's going on now and if things are fixed and there isn't any issues I will always...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI helped my son purchase a small trailer in September 2015. I told the salesman that we had no prior experience with trailers so please disclose all options of what we might need. My first mistake in completing the purchase with Dave's RV is when the salesperson was selling the trailer to us for $18,000 and then my daughter-in-law noticed on the window that the trailer was on sale for $11000 the salesman response was "Oh yeah, that is the same trailer" we should have walked out then. We purchased the trailer and later found that we should have a sway bar installed. The trailer hasn't been driven since Sept 2015 it is now the end of the month in Oct 2015. The first call I made was a couple days after the trailer, the guy told me he could probably walk my son on the install over the phone. When I have called the service department of Dave's RV I spoke with a young lady that told me that it would cost $59.95 per sway bar which does not make sense to me because the sway bars I saw online were one unit. I also told her I had received a call that decals and a mattress were in and I wondered when could I get them installed she never acknowledged that part of the conversation and not once did she ask me my name. When I pointed out the fact that she never asked me my name she sighed and said, "What's your name" clearly I was bothering her. Yes I have her name but will not include it in this post. My son called on a later day and talked to some guy about the sway bar and got the same attitude. I truly regret making this purchase with Dave's RV and if you choose to deal with them beware of their lack of integrity. I felt that the salesman should have at least mentioned the sway bars and gave us the option to decide, especially when I disclosed that we had no prior experience in the area. I have had must more success with dealing with Dean's RV they at least act like they care. We will probably end up getting the sway bars installed there. I think I need to include that my son travels with his job (hence the reason for the trailer purchase) and I told them that initially when I bought the trailer. So it is hard for him to get back here to do the install. I even tried to book a appointment for Nov 24, 2015 because I knew that is when he would be in town for a short period of time and was told they can not book...
Ā Ā Ā Read more(UPDATE AT END) I'm giving Dave's RV 2 stars ONLY because of the lovely lady who greeted us when we came in. She was the only good out of this experience. My husband and I are shopping for a toy hauler. We went to the Tulsa area to visit two RV dealers to see what kind of toy hauler would fit our needs, and Dave's was one of the two dealers that we visited (we drove over 2 hours to get there). It is my impression that we are allowed to visit dealers to shop for the perfect RV and that it is not a rule that you have to purchase one the day that you enter the business. Just my impression. Anyway, we were very unfortunate to get Steve as our salesman. He was rude, condescending, and insulting, and that was BEFORE he found out we weren't buying an RV that day. When he found that out, he promptly got us back on the golf cart, drove our butts back to the show room and said goodbye. I was shocked at the treatment. Is this how all of the salesmen/saleswomen are? Does Dave's not allow you to shop to see what RV is perfect for you? Do you have to buy an RV there that day to be allowed to look at their RVs? I also want to say that my husband and I were nice to Steve in spite of his rudeness. We complimented the toy haulers that he showed us and even found one we liked. But would we go back to Dave's RV again? Probably not. Even if there was a nice salesperson who would take care of us, I don't want to ever see Steve again.
UPDATE: We received a very nice phone call from Kathy at Dave's RV in Claremore. She apologized for our experience and advised me that her manager even offered to pay for our gas to give the dealership another try. We declined their offer to pay for our fuel, but would consider going back. It became obvious during our conversation that Steve's behavior is not how Dave's RV as a whole treats their customers. I do think this behavior is the norm for Steve, so we would NEVER EVER use him as our salesman. In the end, I would recommend Dave's RV, but just make sure you DON'T GET STEVE as...
