Course overall is a decent course to play. Some tee boxes and greens are in rough shape. 11 out of the 18 holes on the greens had a nasty lip from not seating the cup down properly. Another HUGE complaint I had was that we had a group of originally 8 guys, and we called ahead on Wednesday and scheduled or tee times. Playing a 4 vs 4 man scramble. Well, of course, 2 guys didn't show up. So now we're 6 guys who want to play 3 vs 3 scramble. I talked to the guy at the counter, and he's like, no problem. They just had a big party of people golfing all morning, and we had no one in front of us. We get to the 1st hole on the tee box and start getting ready to hit. Ranger comes up to tell us we can't play 3 man scramble bc it will take too long and that we need to be a 2 man or 4 man scramble. I continued to argue a little about how much that didn't make any sense at all. Ask if all 6 of us could just get a refund since we didn't even tee off yet, and that was an absolutely NO at $55 per person. Them then lose out on $330. We ended up playing the 18 to not lose out on our money. We literally played all 18 in 3 hrs and 15 mins. Shot 5 under par one group of us 3 and the other shot 2 under par. So moral of the story is watch how many guys/girls you're trying to play with as a group at this course and a little pricey for i'd say ok course. First time in 23 yrs I played here since I was in high school, and the last time...

The cons were great though. For women's night in 2024, they didn't expect so many women to show up and made 50+ women start from the same tee box. We didn't get to play all 9 holes because it got so dark and then our cart ran out of battery on hole 7. The owner responded to my phone call the following day and apologized. Mentioned that he was the girls' golf coach and had daughters who play so this was definitely not about gender. (The men's league on the front nine seemed to play and finish with ease.)
In our most recent round, a 9 a.m. shotgun start on a Saturday, the ranger followed my group (the only group of four women) for three holes. Told us we needed to be done by noon and we had to hurry. By hole three, he was very vocal to us and told us we could leave, then drove off saying, "Girls who can't play golf." The owner came out to speak to us, said he hadn't heard that last line, and again, he was the girls' golf coach so our experience is surprising. For what it's worth, not once did anyone hit into us during both these conversations, we shot 3 under par, and kept the pace because we've all played tons of golf in our life.

Read moreWe recently hosted an event at The Golf Loft at Arrowhead, working with Emma and the team, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The golf simulators were top-notch and the games were awesome; immersive and a ton of fun for both seasoned golfers and complete beginners. The space itself is beautiful! Clean, comfortable, and well laid out, with plenty of room for mingling and enjoying food and drinks between rounds.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure our group had a great time. Very friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions or adjustments we had to teams on the simulators. Everyone left talking about how much fun they had with requests to repeat the event again next year.
If you’re looking for a unique, engaging venue for a group outing, celebration, or team event, I highly recommend The Golf Loft! Will be returning as an individual guest! An...
