Shout out to VB for their care & stellar customer service. My husband & I recently purchased a home in Lowell & one of the perks was that VB fiber optic was available for internet as my husband works from home. Stephanie with VB totally understood our sense of urgency with needing service and as soon as possible. As soon as weather permitted we were put on their schedule and found out because Stephanie called me with an update around 7:00PM on a Friday night. Their installer (whose name escapes me) was respectful & kind. He walked us through all needed info & even gave us his card in case we needed additional help in the future. We appreciate working with not only a local company but also a local family. So far, internet has been great & we use it for WiFi calling as our cell service is appalling. I would not recommend Point Broadband to another person if they were moving to Lowell. I was referred by my friends when I moved to the area and never received the referral gift card and my friends didnt either. I tried calling multiple times and all I was told was "we are working on it and verifying the information" only to never see an email or get a call back. I have fiber line and when the internet goes out, the text notifying doesnt go out until way later in the day to tell you, not beneficial for someone who works from home. My fiber line also was not installed into the ground fully and I had to call back to let them know. When I called for a credit on the internet outage, I only received a $3 credit for almost a days worth of...
