Plaz Vilka Beachfront House & Cottages — Local services in Vermilion Township

We rented the two-bedroom house at this property for 3 nights, and had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, bright and attractive, and accommodated two families (four adults, three kids) by utilizing the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is narrow, but well stocked with dishes and utensils for preparing meals.

We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space-- a grassy area for games, and a shared picnic area and fire pit overlooking the lake, along with private access to the lake.

The property is close to Cedar Point (about 20-25 mins), but well removed from the built-up area near the park's entrance. It's also close to the Vermillion, a pleasant town with a nice Main Street and public beach.

Communication with the owner, Kathleen, was always timely and helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again if we visit this area...

Initially I would have rated this experience five stars. It was a great family reunion. We rent out our place too so we were sure to clean up and treat the place like our own. We overlooked some details like problems with the drain and some less than comfortable beds because of the overall experience. The owners don’t overlook little things though-they ran up all sorts of little charges. We did chip the coffee pot washing it and left a note apologizing. They charged us for that and some stains we didn’t make and a broken screen we didn’t break. Take pictures upon your arrival if...

My wife and I and another couple stay here every fall on Halloween weekend. A great 2 bedroom , 2 bath cottage right on lake Erie. There is a fire pit right on the lake, with plenty of firewood. There is access to the beach. There is a roomy living room and a clean full kitchen with everything you need. The town of vermilion and Huron are a stones throw away for groceries and restaurants. My wife and I even enjoyed 9 holes of golf at a local public couse nearby. The owners are lovely people who are very accommodating to whatever needs you have. That's why we return...
