Best place in town to shop for the freshest produce and local Meats. The grocery & Pantry items can be more expensive but they offer a more unique selection and what you'll find at Giant Eagle. This is not the place to go for Kraft macaroni and cheese or toilet paper but if you like to cook or are focusing on healthy eating this is a great place to shop. They also have a great bakery with lots of homemade breads. I highly recommend the sunflower cracked wheat bread it is absolutely delicious. Check out they're reduced Bakery rack for bread to stash in your freezer to pull out for meals quickly. They also have a reduced produce rack if you're somebody that doesn't mind a few bruises for a good deal. You can get all different sorts of Red Mill grains and grain substitutes. Also a great place to shop for bulk nuts and melting chocolate if you are someone that likes to make your own candies. I love that they have Ohio beef in their butcher counter and this is the cheapest place to get wings if you enjoy making your own buffalo chicken wings. This is the only place in town that I can find smoked ham hocks and ham shanks. They also make a variety of sausages for grilling which I highly recommend. If you are looking for ethnic and old-fashioned specialties such as head cheese, various dried fish, chicken livers, hurka or kiska you can get it here. I also find this is the best place for all types of lunch meats and cheeses. It is the only place in town I like to come and get smoked turkey breast shave because it doesn't have that rubbery watery texture like you get at the big chain grocery stores. For some reason they don't seem to have a nasty textures like the Giant Eagle brand lunch meats. Many of the people that work there have worked there for many years and are very knowledgeable about the products and ingredients. Many will even share a recipe with you if you aren't sure how to...

Read moreDo not assume if the Farm Market is opened so will their outdoor flower and plant stand. I went there on Friday of Memorial Day weekend at 5:30pm. They flower stand was closing. I called on Memorial Day to see what time they were opened and was told both the market and the Flower and Plant stand would be opened until 4:00pm. I arrived at 3:20 The woman was rolling the plant stands into the enclosure. I asked if I could purchase 2 flats and 3 hanging baskets and was politely told no they were closed. I explained I had called a half hour ago and was told they were opened until 4pm. She said "no the man told her to close everything by 3:30. I went up the road to Lowes, bought 5 flats, 4 hanging baskets and 2 shrubs. So much for trying to support local small shop owners. I am giving 1 star because this will not post without...
