R & S Market — Local services in Vernonia

I don't shop at R&S market very much. The prices are more then I want to pay. I have had to go to R&S three different times this week and all three times I was over charged for items. I bought A Randy's special water for 3.49 + deposit but when I got home I checked the recite I was charged 6.99 + deposit. Next I was in for snacks and I bought gummy bears and I was charged 20% more then the price on the shelf. They did reimburse me. Today I needed a few items so I wrote down the cost of each item, I bought some lunch meat for 3.99 and I was charged 5.35. What happened , my guess, is someone moved the tag, so the women who went back to help me moved the 3.99 tag under another product. so I asked where the tag was that showed the price for the meat that I wanted to buy. That's when I got reprimanded several times for getting upset. I asked a question, I was not upset. I ended up paying the price that was originally on the shelf. Its the only store in vernonia so they have the market cornered, literally. Not exactly friendly to out of towners. Way over priced and inconsistent with their "sale" price. Was buying adult beverages and sale price was 16.99 for a 6 pack, rang up 18.99 plus deposit when I brought up sale price was basically told "oh well, don't like it don't buy it". And who the hell does their pricing, 6 pack of Hershey bars is 10.55 but individual full size Hershey bars are 1.55 a piece, that comes out to 1.76 a piece. Yes yes prices are high in tiny towns with convenient shipped in pricing. Staff is always friendly. The government agencies are regulating us just tightly as any city for safety compliance despite sensationalism "news" media coverage. Do your big shopping trips before you get out here or plan your meals according to sales.
