The Bargain Store — Local services in Victoria

This store is Awesome! I would describe this store as more of a variety store rather than a thrift shop. So many items and lots of cool things. They have stuff I haven’t seen since I was a kid! Their prices are reasonable. This is not a donation center, so everything they sell is inventory the owners have purchased to sell in their store. The previous comments about EBay seem out of line and from people that are angry they can’t do exactly what these owners are doing. So if you are going in looking for cheap items you will find that, but they do mark collectible items accordingly, so flipping anything would be hard. It’s best to stick to your Salvation Army and Goodwills for flipping because they are not that type of store. Never again, unhinged man came unglued because they sold me something dirty and potentially dangerous. I NEEDED my money back because I still needed to buy cooking equipment for my trip either way and it was all I had. Extremely nasty gaslighting attitude, I will never come here again and everything is dirty & overpriced anyway. Honestly so embarrassing. I implored that they plug in the appliance themselves and test it out right there in the store if they're so sure it won't start an electrical fire, they refused lol. They tried to push the item back off onto me after agreeing to refund it over the phone. Apparently they REALLY need the money more than a single mother that works for every dime she gets does. This store is Amazing!! They strive very hard to make their customers happy. When you step in there you find stuff you didn’t even know existed or that you needed. It’s like a target run but for a resale shop. The owner is always so sweet and helpful. She has even come down on prices for me. I’ve been going here for years and every time I go in I find some new cool thing I can add to my collection or something that’s hundreds of dollars in store is 1/3rd at her store.
