In a time of deep loss and low energy, what you really need is someone who will answer the phone every time and guide you with clarity, care, and compassion. Dignity Memorial provided exactly that. From day one, Amorette answered that call and built a strong and genuine relationship with me. She walked me through every step with empathy and professionalism, helping me navigate all the things needed to lay my mother to rest in the most classy, respectful, and loving way possible. One of the aspect's I truly appreciated was the flexibility Dignity offered. I was able to hold a beautiful celebration of life for my mother at the Demaine Life Celebration Center in Sterling, Virginia. The venue is modern, bright, and an airy space that felt uplifting and peaceful. John, who helped coordinate the event, was absolutely awesome to work with: fast, caring, and flexible, which made a difficult process so much easier. Dignity also made it possible for me to fulfill my mother’s final wishes by laying her ashes to rest in Florida at Memorial Gardens in Rutledge. I can’t say enough about the professionalism at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. The level of compassion this team had for the loss of my precious mother blew myself and my family away. When we talked to our funeral director Paul Hope and told him things about my mom he quietly wrote things down. The day I walked into my mom’s service I was brought to tears and overwhelmed by the absolute beauty. They described my mother’s life by telling her story all around the room. Everything was exactly like my mom. It looked as if my mom set the room up her self. My mom’s death was a complete shock and we were unprepared, so seeing the level of excellence this amazing staff took to make us feel a little better on the worst day of our lives was unprecedented. I would like to personally thank Paul Hope and his amazing team for everything they did for my mom, and my family. I can’t express the gratitude I have for each and everyone of them. Eric, Todd, Lashanda, and the whole team at the life event center at Florida memorial are absolutely amazing and that’s an understatement. Everyone was extremely professional, attentive, caring, and incredible to work with.

Losing my dad is easily the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. My brothers and I have never had to plan a wake before, and really had no idea what to expect.

We were blown away by the service provided, the detail, decorations, beauty, and just how much everything in the room screamed our dad. You could see how much planning, thought, and effort was put into it. Everyone that attended said they had never been to a wake anything like this one, and it made me so happy to hear. Our dad was the absolute best.. he deserved the best, and he got the best.
