A power company from the dark ages- literally and figuratively. Their website looks like it was coded during the dinosaur era, and the outage map? It resembles something a blindfolded toddler scribbled while having a fit, completely missing half the actual outage zones. Want to report an outage? Good luck. There’s no online form, no app, not even a chatbot. Instead, you're forced to call in and navigate an endless maze of “press 1, press 4, press 2, press 3, press 2…” or wait until morning just to speak to a live human who will inevitably ask, “Have you tried the breaker?” No. I simply enjoy spending the night in total darkness, freezing to death or dying of heat stroke for the fun of it. 🤦‍♀️ Need an update on when your power might be restored? Forget it. No status, no estimates, no clue. Meanwhile, Dominion, Reliant or Duke Energy would notify me before I even noticed my power was out. They’d tell me what happened, when a crew would be dispatched to my area, how long the repair might take, and if there were delays, they’d follow up with more details. And when the power was back? Ping, you’d know immediately. SCEC, it’s time to...

Waited for area outages to drop from 4k to 25 in the area before I called. Power at the neighbors house behind me, finally got through to some lady who questioned me about my how I know the power is out if I'm not here, well Karen because my network and everything in my house is dead, rudly told me someone is dispatched and then hung up on me. No evidence of anyone from the company being onsite here to resolve the outage no eta to information whatsoever, down 48 hours no with no end in sight. I'm sure the owner of this company won't reply as they don't care, clearly demonstrated by responding to only the sole positive feedback below. I pay 300 to 600 a month in electric for this place and that is all they care about, I will be demanding a bill credit for this and the $300+ in wasted food from this outage, this is completly...

This place is such a joke - total monopoly! They take advantage of their customers and don’t think twice about it. They charged us more to get power to our new garage than they did when we built our house 6 years ago. We also never received a contract before they started to do the work. Needless to say, we were floored by the amount they were charging us when we’re in the end going to give them MORE business. I called to complain and they have zero sympathy. All they care about is money. Absolutely horrible!! Wouldn’t recommend this...
