Played 18 on Pine course. The course is in bad shape. The paths, the fairways, everything. It sounds bad, I feel bad, but it is in poor upkeep. In addition, the staff was particularly rude. One of the Rangers, bigger fella, was very rude pushing people to go. I get efficiency but the staff overbooked. There were too many people allowed to go on. It took 5hrs to play 18 and at most holes we sat for 10 min waiting for people. I posted a pic, you can see, 4 separate groups on top of each other. On top of that, the Rangers are driving around like golf police telling people to rush and just putting an overall bad feeling out there. Talked to the pro guy, bald/balding guy twice. Once on the phone and then in person to check in. He was very rude. No customer service at all. It was like I was bothering him. Maybe I was. Finally, because they were so overbooked, I had to team up with 2 other people. Now, I've done that before, maybe another onesie, but not 2. Also, every course has asked if I'm willing to do that. They didn't just force it. Or they told me ahead of time so, I could choose. These guys rolled up on hole 2. Blonde drinkcart girl was very polite however. So overall, I'm debating ever going back really. I may, but figured I'd put it all out here so Edgewood could get the feedback and others can choose...
Read moreRecently just had a batchlor party at this course. The course was a lot of fun it's self but it's management and it's owner we're garbage and trying to scam us out for "damages". I had a reservation for 13 people and for warned them that we would be slow as that we were out here just for fun. The staff fallowed us and watched us like Hawks the entire day. In the end the owner came running out of the woods (spying on us) clamming he seen us smashing in to each other the last 2 holes. And that we caused over $350 in damage to one cart. In which we certainly did not cause the damages. We were escorted out and the sheriff's Dept was called. We tried to make a deal with the owner even though we didn't do it. He wouldn't budge. So the cops took both sides statements and advised for him to just negotiate with us. They walked around 20 different carts and half of them were damaged to some sort. So it was hard to prove that we did anything since it could have been very likely that it was pre-existing. In the end he ended up settled on $100 for our "damage" and to never see us again. Garbage, scammer is...
Read moreNEW UPDATE: The owner of the golf course reached out to me to make things right and I have taken him up on his offer. I will increase my review to 4 stars at this point due to the excellent customer service. Many thanks to John and his team for the help. Hope our next visit is positive!
Extremely disappointing golf course; something must have changed over the last 2-3 years with ownership. Played the front 9 on the Oaks course and the fairways looked like rough, the tee boxes looked like grenades went off, and the greens have sprinkler heads in them! What on earth is going on over there.... not worth the $29 for 9 holes and a cart....
