Central Arkansas Karting Complex — Local services in Vilonia

Unfriendly staff and lack of knowledge and disregard for safety. They seem more worried about their karts and their regulars than anything. Also 90% of these 5 star reviews are lies cause they tell everyone they will give them free stuff if they do lmfao. This place isn’t as great as the reviews say. I believe the 1-3 stars reviews more than anything. I don’t see this track lasting long. A year later and no improvements and the 2 strokes that were promised never showed up and the track is super rough and poorly maintained. League races seem rigged and a lot of cheating and told “that’s just racing, or you only pay for seat time not to race” and I’m told it’s a common thing, so driving off course and ramming people off the road and into stuff is apparently acceptable. I’ll take my business somewhere that is more safe and where they actually care more than just about money, they refuse to talk about it or care and find it funny when people get hurt. I’ve seen them tell people if they leave a 5 star they will get a free or win one. This place isn’t what it...

Great fun, nice staff, but....Safety is a bit of a problem.

While me and my brother had a lot of fun racing out there this past weekend, we suffered a lot in injuries because of the kart's designs. The adult one seater karts that we drove have a " One size fits all " design flaw. See me and my brother are small in size for adults. And even though the pedals could be adjusted... The seats themselves were so wide (and had no padding ) that even making a simple turn would sling us across the seat with no real way to stop it from happening. After only three races, we were both way too hurt to race anymore. The seatbelts were of little use because the buckles were mounted so far forward that they didn't restrain much.

They really need smaller designed seats for the one seater high speed karts. Keep the overall kart the same, just make the cockpit smaller.

I think that this place has much potential, but they need to iron some kinks out first. I look forward to keeping tabs on this place, and might...

Registration is fast and easy on site. I heard you could also register online before arriving to speed it up even more. The karts were fast and track was in pretty good shape. I went with a group of 10 folks and everyone had a blast.

One recommendation is to check for private reservations before you go. We didn’t and when we showed up at 1200, we found out that from 1pm-4pm it was closed for a private reservation/event. So we ended up having to do our races back to back in order to get them in before it shut down for a few hours. The staff was courteous and let us know this before purchasing. We had already all driven out there so we weren’t going to wait. The staff did good getting us into karts quickly so we could get our races in, in time. Just next time I would look into those private reservations beforehand to alleviate that issue.
