I asked about breakfast and girl asked me what I wanted and I told her but she didn't bother to tell me that they had a big breakfast for $4.99 and proceeded to give me items off of the a la carte list which of course as anyone knows is more expensive so I paid double what I should have paid and got less! No I didn't even bother to eat it it looked disgusting the sausage looked totally dried out like they cooked it at 3:00 this morning and left it under a heat lamp so it would dry out. Read moreThis is gonna be a strange review for sure because this is a gas station/truck stop. I don’t know anything about their gas and whatnot but for the last 2 years we have been driving half an hour or more to Eight Mile strictly to get their pork chops. They have other food too and I’m sure it’s delicious but I started with their pork chops and they were too good to try anything else lol They actually change their grease like they are supposed to. Lots of these places don’t care to do that as often as they should. The breading & seasoning is always, always sheer perfection! If you’re in Central Arkansas, and you appreciate a great pork chop, it is WELL worth the drive! You gotta try these!!! The staff has always been kind, courteous and super fast too. Read moreWe have always had great service but this time not so much. Too much hassle to get a simple issue resolved. We were nice about and still nobody apologized and said why can we do to resolve the issue. A simple remake or refund was all that was needed. Instead a manager actually said. I can’t promise they will do anything about it. Wow if a customer of mine told me nicely that my meat was spoiled I would apologize and offer a refund or at least offer to remake the food. Not the type of service I expected. Usually super nice about everything but obviously this manager did not care.
