This is a very clean and maintained quarry. It's the biggest quarry I've personally ever seen. There's plenty of places to have a laid out picnic and enjoy the scenery. They kept it very tidy, no trash. You have steps you can walk down to get into the water or just jump in. Parking isn't the best, you have to park on the side of the road, there's a little pull off spot but room for maybe one car. There's no fee, it's not a park and there's no bathrooms. The quarry isn't hard to find, just gps it and you'll find it quick. On a hot day this place will be packed so plan accordingly. Overall, 4 stars! ❤️

Enjoyed people watching and learning about the history of the quarry. Apparently, it’s a thing that people jump into the water for a swim for fun. Water was much warmer than the basin so I guess it makes sense.

Water was warmer than the ocean like there say. This place has carved rock almost like big stairs leading into the water. Kids looking at fish with goggles and a nice view.
