Finally, good pizza in Vineland! Their traditional pizza is cooked EXACTLY the way a pizza should be. Thin crust and well done!! The black char on the crusts edge and bottom is so beautiful; it makes my heart warm. For the reviewer that gave 1-star because the bottom was charred has no idea how a REAL pizza should be cooked. I saw your pic, and it made my mouth water.
I've been living in this area for 13 years and I am very passionate about my pizza. I take my pizza so seriously that I literally stopped ordering delivery, because Vineland pizza sucked, until now. The only other place besides 203 that does it right is Martinos brick oven Margherita, but unfortunately, they don't deliver.
Pizzeria 203, you literally have no competition in Vineland, period! All other pizza delivery spots in Vineland are pure undercooked floppy garbage and wouldn't last a month in Philly, NY, or CT. My only worry for you is ppl around here are so used to undercooked soggy pizza, they may not know how a REAL pizza is supposed to be. When Martinos first opened, ppl complained that their pizza was over cooked. Because of this, they literally put on their menu, "cooked on the well-done side".
Here's the deal ppl. If a pizza is not brown and bubbly with a little bit of char on the bottom, then...
Read moreLet me start by saying this pizzeria is completely remodeled, clean and modern. I ordered 2 pizzas, a fig and goat cheese and a traditional with sautéed mushrooms. The fig and goat cheese was good, Crust was delicious, generous amount of figs but the goat cheese didn't have any taste was very dried out, I love goat cheese, will eat it straight out of the package but this lacked flavor. What a great combination of Fig, goat cheese, arugula and balsamic glaze. Now the traditional with sautéed mushrooms was excellent. Outer Crust was crisp and delicious. Sauce was full of flavor, perfect balance of sweetness and spices. The mushrooms were sautéed prior to them being put on the pizza, which I like. I do have a request, CHEESESTEAK...
Read moreBeen wanting to try here for a while and was curious what “New Haven” pizza was like. Prices were okay, on par with other pizzerias around. Store was very modern and new looking. Ordered the hot honey pizza, it was very tasty and loved the thin crispiness. Service could be improved, walked in and no greeting, finally someone acknowledged me with “picking up?” Then was told they don’t have my order, but then they do have my order. Also, doesn’t sit well with me that the girl at the register cuts the pizzas without gloves or washing her hands, potentially touching the pizza after managing the register. Overall, I might return?? Not sure yet, pizza was good and I am a fan of New Haven pizza but service was a little...
