An amazing company with customer service and support that truly goes above and beyond expectations! We put in a request for service on a tree that was threatening power lines on our property. They said someone would be out in a couple days, a tech showed up within an hour. When he left, he said a crew would probably be out to do the work sometime in the next 30 days. A crew showed up about 5 days later and had the tree on the ground in an hours time. We were left with a pile of branches and logs that we weren't expecting. We called and started an inquiry into why they left the piles. They said they would get back to us in a couple days with their response. A supervisor showed up at our door within 2 days and let us know that the issue would be resolved early in the following week. The very next morning the same supervisor showed up with a full crew and had the entire thing cleaned up within 90 minutes.
I know we all have options for electric service providers in the area . Personally, for my family and myself, there is no other choice in my book but NOEC. From Nick Bowers working on this on his end to Les Newkirk supervising in the field and making things happen fast, it was an amazing experience that I will share with anyone who's contemplating a power company in any area where NOEC is a provider. Read moreWe just closed on a house, I called the electric company a week ago about what we needed. We were informed that a deposit of $640 or a letter of good standing from our previous electric company. Was told could take a week to get this from that company, I passed this information along and asked if we could have 2 weeks after closing (as sometimes things don't always work out in closing) was told that would not be a problem that they would note the account. Well came home from school/work today (of course they were closed by time I got home) and the electric was shut off and there was not a note of the previous conversation. Not cool, not cool at all. On a positive note the after hours guy was very apologetic and helpful he earned a star for this company from me.
*UPDATE * so after rushing around and taking a day off school we were able to get everything lined out. Electric is back on and I can say Brenda was very helpful. I really wish we would of been told of everything when we called a week ago. But it's on and everything is lined out now. If buying a house request a week to at least get everything...

Christina Trombley, a trainee, was extremely helpful in updating my records and answering payment options; Casey Gonzalez was the epitome of professionalism in clarifying a potential invoice scam issue and providing me thermostat information that will save me about $200 in one month's billing cycle; and Jason Palmer was expeditious in returning my call to confirm my issues had been appropriately addressed by NEOC. Plus, time permitting, he's an interesting conversationalist with whom to talk. My contacts with these three NOEC individuals represented the quality service all businesses hope to achieve and all three were exceptionally polite, courteous, and committed to helping me with my issues. They represent small town rural communities at their best in promoting a sense of togetherness and helpfulness within the community....
