Dollar General — Local services in Vinton

This store severely needs better management. Every time I’ve come to this DG, I’ve had a terrible experience. Inventory is in disarray always and many items are often not restocked, but this is tolerable. What isn’t tolerable is how some of the employees treat customers. I sat at a register for at least 5 minutes while the cashier sat on her phone texting. When I inquisitively said, “ma’am,” she replied, “you ain’t gotta worry about it... it’ll get done,” as she continued to be on her phone. Another time, I pulled up at 5pm and the doors were locked. I understood that maybe they closed early because of the bad weather, but when I attempted to open the door, a young girl yelled, “WE’RE CLOSED” (twice) with an angry expression and an eye roll. This place has rude managers.Il never go back in their again after the manager that confronted a customer in their yesterday Disrespectfully.Very uncalled for.Their is a right way an wrong way to go about certain issues.I spend lots of money in that store .Put up with climbing over boxes struggling to get what i need .Sometimes their are no buggies bc their all loaded with Merchandise that hasnt been put away.One day its cash only.The next day not accepting cash To the next day mite be cash only.But to see that employee belittle a customer No i just want put up with that..Il never step foot in their again il do my shopping in a real grocery store...

I really don't care to shop at this particular Dollar General. The service is very bad. Not all of the people that work at this location are rude and so unfriendly. The manager should find another field of work . She has no customer service skill and is never helpful when asked . I thought it was maybe just me. But when I witnessed other customer's being treated in a very rude way and unfriendly also treated disrespectfully. I decided just to go else where. Even if I had to drive 10 miles out...
