EZ Screen Fix — Local services in Virginia

Good fast service! But..... Dropped my phone off p.m. of Thursday and picked it up Friday afternoon with a new screen! Yay! 🫣However Here's the '⭐⭐' part. Previously unbeknownst to me, the required biometrics hardware (aka the thumbprint scanner) was not included with the newly installed screen. The whole reason that I came in for a new screen because mine was cracked last year and the phone was finally disabled from it's damage. But I wasn't informed that the quoted $220 parts and replacement would leave me without biometrics. For $300, I would've gotten what I came in for. The kicker, I expected to pay 300. I even commented that One of their Duluth competitors quoted me $300. I would've been thrilled to just get it done right had I been told about the detail.

I loved the fast friendly service and the local support. But I'm super bummed that my service either (a.) assumed they could reuse the old thumb-scan hardware that apparently can't be ordered separately or (b.) didn't foresee the dilemma.

I was informed about the scanning hardware tidbit after the install was complete. I asked about what it would cost to get a thumbprint scanner ordered and installed and it would take another 300 because they only come with the new screen. 🤷🏼‍♂️

(Update) Mobile banking apps are cripplingly difficult to login to...

i brought a samsung S24 ultra in for a basic screen replacement, caused more damage to phone than fixed. cracked back glass by prying on it with a screwdriver which was offered to be repaired damaged battery causing it to bulge and expand! missing screws all throughout phone and charged full price for an aftermarket display even though i requested it to be an OEM display! fingerprint scanner doesnt work 100% of the time and had to remove battery to keep it from exploding!! absolutely ruined a...

My wife's older Samsung S20's screen went out and we couldn't transfer her photos and contacts to her new phone. They had a screen from a damaged phone that would work to allow the transfer rather than replacing the screen with a new one. The work took an hour and a half, all the photos/contacts were saved and the cost was way less than a new screen. Very pleased with the service, the advise and the cost. Highly recommend this...
