We stop at The Old Store on a regular basis on our way to the beach. There is a large chicken statue in the front that is a landmark. The food is always good. You can get fresh home cooked vegetables or a fantastic burger. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with chili. Cash only but they have an ATM inside. Eat roasted peanuts while you wait for your food. I...

The Old Store is a must stop if you are on 74 Hwy. Great memorabilia with antique posters, toys and household items that will take you to how was the life "back in the days". Great food as well.

Be aware it is "Cash Only". They have an ATM that runs very slow, but you will get some bills...
