We have been here three other times and had a great time. Today, not so much. The fee to get in is $4/person. You then get that much back in apples or raspberries that you pick. We picked four bags of apples. When we told the lady we only wanted to purchase $20 worth she was rude. "What am I supposed to do with the extra?" When we explained that we only brought cash today she acted very put out. I questioned her then as to why scales are not available in the field if excess apples was a problem, she finally put $17 worth of apples on the scale and said, "OK, so do you just want these?" Read moreI came here to pick apples and found that they also have Upick pumpkins and Upick flowers at the same time. It was such a disappointment to have to pay $6 to come in on top of the money I had to pay for the apples themselves (hence the missing 5th star). We got Rosalee apples and they were good. The place is small and you could completely miss it as the signage isn't great coming in from the North (hence the missing 5th star). They have a tiny store as well with some jams, pottery,...
Read moreI love this place!!! We have gone for the past 2 years now and will keep going every year for as long as we can. It’s beautiful and natural — nothing cheesy or gimmicky about it. We get delicious apples and LOTS of pumpkins here. It’s great because you pick your pumpkins and that way I can get them with long stems and extra foliage on them. PLUS...you can get corn stalks here with the corn still on them — great for decorating the porch for fall. There are beautiful views from the orchard — it’s just a great place to go every fall. Sounds like it might not be a bad idea to bring some bug spray this year, but it has never been a problem...
