Unbelievable views of the foliage from the fire tower. There’s also a very cool primitive cabin at the top. The hike was strenuous but well worth the views at the top. A note of caution, the trail has lots of wet rocks that are very slippery. I highly recommend bringing and using a walking stick to avoid injury. This hike is quite a steep grade. Be sure to bring lots of water and snacks and stop frequently.

Beautiful hike! I'm afraid of the height and it was challenging to go up the tower on top, but the view is so worth it! The trail itself is nice but gets moderate close to the top. Kids (12&9) were exhausted :) It took us 1 hour and 40 min to get up and 1 hour and 5 min to get down. Bring bug repellent.

What a great hike for an awesome sunset view from the fire watch tower at the summit. I lost count after eleven lakes, from Lake Willoughby to Memphremagog. It’s an easy trail from the Westmore side that has a roomy parking lot. Next to explore the north side trail and a stay over at the hikers cabin.

Great hike! Not super hard. I say it would take someone an hour 15 to an hour and 30 mins up. The view on top of the fire tower is incredible. It makes it my favorite hike in this area. I always take guests here. I highly recommend this hike. The top of the mountain is pretty buggy so bring big spray. There is also a cabin for those who want to...
