Last summer on a Sunday motorcycle ride I checked out Old Hickory Buildings sheds at a dealer closer to us in SE WI. Once I compared to Tuff Shed, I realized OHB sheds were far less costly, equally well-made, with far better customer service than a certain big box store.

I cannot say enough about Leanne, Sales Mgr! She patiently answered ALL my many questions (over a period of months!) and while some other OHB dealer replies were basically ‘take it or leave it’, she was never dismissive or snarky & always replied back very quickly. She was THE reason we purchased from this dealer, well over an hour north of us & other OHB dealers in our area.

Our new shed will be delivered tomorrow. Now I’m thinking I should buy some lawn equipment from Lochen!

Stay away. Poor customer service. 700+ repair/tune up/parts bill. Drive belt on my Cub Cadet broke due to a previous botched repair They agreed to refund the labor for that repair (209.00) also had a full tune up. They day they dropped the mower off, I noticed oil on my garage floor later in the evening. Called immediately the following day, took a picture and they agreed to come pick up the mower. A few weeks later I got a call that the mower is finished and that it was leaking from the drain plug. Cost of repair 109.00. WHAT??? they took zero responsibility and charged me for the part, pick up and labor. I find it funny that there was no leak prior to the repair and tune up. That’s two times in a row I have been screwed over by them. Never will I do business...

Mowtown is the place to go!! Upfront and honest people all around, beginning with the owner right down to the guy that pulled my new tractor out from the crate! I went in to trade a tractor I personally didn’t care for. Leanne was very knowledgeable and understood what I was looking for. Harold wanted to make sure I was confident in what I wanted to do( mow fast) so we compared speed with 2 tractors side by side. They didn’t have the exact GT54 out of the crate yet but they got it out and ready to rock pretty quick. The new Cub Cadet GT54 to work the minute I got home and it did an amazing job! If your in the market for any piece of equipment, make Mowtown your first stop and save yourself...
