Cash only. How do you not accept cards in this day?
Had to pay for a person in the mini golf course who wasnt even playing. Just wanted to enjoy the time with the family.
Ice cream after. They had zero toppings. None. No sprinkles. No peanuts. No nothing. Not sure if they just ran out but when I asked if they had any toppings I was given a quick no. Like she's said that to the 100 other customers before me.
Driving range after that. That's where the real fun started. Told we couldn't take our irons to hit. Strictly a driver. Reason given ; it ruins the mats with irons. What? That's a normal maintenance expense for a driving range. This wasn't just a random employee telling me this. The manager also confirmed this is the rule. No driving range anywhere limits you to just your driver. Imagine telling everyone that comes into the range they can only use 1 club out of their bag that they brought. That has to be a conflict every other day there.
You're cutting corners where you shouldn't be business wise. The people who actually want to practice will never come to your range. Crazy thing is....those are the people that will take the best care of your facility. You're successfully inviting people who go to the range to screw around and hit "bombs" off your mats. Exactly what you don't want. You created your problem.
After I accepted the no irons rule, we were called ignorant by the employee working the range. All because we had our kids in there with us teaching them. Taking turns. Standing against the fence when it wasn't their turn. We were told they had to be outside the fence if they weren't hitting and couldn't share a bucket of balls. The fence is a good 10 feet behind the tee boxes. We couldn't even take our milkshakes in we just bought from the ice cream area. Had to leave them at the desk but the woman behind the counter gets to eat a tray of food inside the range area while yelling at us. Keep in mind the range was half full and everyone there heard it and then left because of that employee.
So many unnecessary rules.
The rules and culture here are creating this environment.
The potential this place has and isn't living up to honestly makes me sad. It has the vibe of a change or...
Read moreI donât know how such a wonderful family experience could go so wrong. This was beyond zero stars. We arrive there as a family with my sons , their children and my wife. Finding out they take cash only was a bit antiquated, but we dealt with it. We played miniature golf However, one member of our family could not even walk around with us and take pictures without paying to get in , We dealt with that as well. Then we had some ice cream., Again, being all cash only we were unprepared but we dealt with that as well . We went over to the driving range. This is where it went horribly wrong. Both my sons are avid golfers, and wanted to teach my grandchildren how to Hit a golf ball a for the first time. We purchased several baskets of balls , my wife came in a little late just to find out she was not allowed in to take pictures of her grandchildren hitting a golf ball because she wasnât playing. My grandchildren were taking turns learning how to hit the ball. When it wasnât their turn, they stayed with me over 10 feet away. Against the fence. The employee there was yelling at us we Cannot share a bucket of balls with the kids And my wife canât be in here taking pictures. The employee was heckling My wife and family about all the rules and called my grandchildren and my one son ignorant. And was lashing out at all of us. My grandchildren were very upset, and one of them started to cry Asking me if ignorant was a bad word. My sons are well educated and incredible fathers. This whole thing turned out to be far more than poor customer Service. It was an outright verbal attack on our family.. The manager who showed up was no better. Her knowledge of customer service was absolutely terrible. She actually used the word jackas* In front of my grandchildren, this was far beyond a bad experience. It was upsetting, embarrassing And horribly insulting. Not stating the obvious, but I will never return here and I cannot...
Read moreI would like to not give any stars, this place is not what it used to be. Well, actually they still are stuck in the 70âs! They donât take cards! Thatâs ridiculous, in this day and age what place doesnât take cards? thatâs not my biggest complaint.. we went up with the family to play miniature golf, that was fine except they make you pay just to walk with the ones that are golfing! Then it comes time for the ice cream! What ice cream stand doesnât have sprinkles or any kind of toppings ?!! We donât have complaints about the ice cream, it was good. Now we decided to go to the driving range, hit a couple bucket of balls and teach the grandchildren how to hit. And this is where it all starts! First we had to leave the drinks that we just purchased at the dairy bar on the counter, (will we make a mess on the concrete!?! ) So the grandchildren were taking turns hitting the balls and staying back when it wasnât their turn, then a woman came out and starts giving us trouble about the kids being there and said they canât share⌠remember, she sold us the balls and left the 3 grandchildren go thru! Then as sheâs arguing with us, she has the nerve to call us ignorant and smartas*. This is how an employee talks to customers in front of small children. Then the manager comes and wasnât any better. I was never treated so poorly. Oh if you really want to go there to practice, donât bother⌠you canât use your Irons! Really!? No Irons at a driving range! I recommend Luck Strokes on Airport road. You can use your Irons there, and they have miniature golf! WILL NEVER GO BACK...
