When we first started building I started dreaming up my dining table and asking around for who could build me the exact table I wanted. My dream of having this house goes well beyond the rock and wood that makes it but having the home everyone can come to and feel comfortable and loved for years and years. I wanted the table that my kids would one day argue over because of the memories they had while sitting at it were too much to give up, the table that lasted generations. After months of searching, sending messages and just not finding exactly what I wanted I stumbled onto lumber2love on etsy. From the moment I reached out I knew this was where I would get my table. Wanted to get our daughter and her family their “forever” table as they moved into their “forever” home. One that our grandson and new granddaughter would each dinner at, complete their homework, and create all crafts at! We began our search on Etsy! We searched and found Lumber2Love where we liked their family story and the quality of their work! I reached out and asked a few questions which were answered quickly and also made modifications to our table to make it the perfect fit for their dining area! Absolutely the best experience we've had with a shop on Etsy and we've never had a bad one! The square farm table we ordered in a classic gray stain with a white pedestal base came exactly as pictured. Amanda kept us advised every step of the way, from receiving our order, to estimated completion dates, to photos of our finished table, to letting us know when it left their shop. We were contacted by our delivery driver, Thomas, who kept us updated on when he'd be arriving. He was right on time and even took pity (LOL) on this senior couple and assembled our table for us (he didn't have to, he simply offered and we said yes)! The table itself is gorgeous!
