Turns out that the refurbished laptop they sold me had a bad monitor. So sad.
The fix? They swapped the bad monitor with my old monitor. Down side? I payed for my monitor to be reinstalled. Huh? No partial refund offered. After all that, I'll go elsewhere in the furure. What's really telling? No response to this review. Crickets!
Plus two stars for talent. Minus 3 stars for greed.

The computer they sold me crashed. The monitor started showing signs of failure last night. Totally dead by this posting less than 24 hrs later. Called after hours today and left a message to cb right away. They're very responsive so I'm hoping to hear back from them by Monday. Really disappointed. More to follow...
Went in for a $200 repair. Walked out with a better $400 replacement. So said. My device is no longer supported but Jack and Ryan tried to fix the original device to no avail. Paid the labor cost and given an exact credit toward a better device. Exact model number as mine. Worth the extra saw-bucks....
Read moreI took my laptop to Price Computers just over the state line on Friday for a tune-up. That was on a recommendation of a local outfit that doesn't do that sort of thing.
The guy at Price quoted me the cost and I agreed. I asked when it would be ready and was told Monday. I called Monday and was told it "hadn't been brought up to the table yet." They hadn't started working on it yet. The new date was late Tuesday and I asked for someone to call me and that was agreed to.
No call Tuesday nor Wednesday morning, so I called again @ 1:00 pm and was told it was finished the afternoon before ... no call, as requested and agreed. I had duties and couldn't make it in the rest of the day, so fetched it this morning.
I got the bill for the quoted fee and asked the guy if he thought that was fair, given the poor service and waste of my time. He said he couldn't do anything about it and I replied, "Well, I guess you know what I'll tell...
Read moreI would not recommend this place to anyone. Service was slow, communication was poor, and I didn’t feel they valued my time as a customer.
I was told my repair would take 3–5 days — it ended up taking nearly 4 weeks. Five days after dropping my laptop off, I hadn’t heard a word, so I called. Turns out they hadn’t even looked at it yet. They first quoted me an extremely high price for the part, and only lowered it after I pushed back — which makes me doubt they put any real effort into finding fair prices. I was told the part would be ordered immediately, but ten days later, when I called for an update, I found out it hadn’t been ordered yet. After that, they managed to order the wrong part. Twice.
If you need a quick, reliable repair — especially since most of us depend on our laptops for work, school, and communication — save yourself the trouble and go...
