Not bad. It's like most festivals. Great place to look and buy from different vendors. Not a lot of parking. If you go in the future go very early for parking. A lot of people had to park at other stores. I had to park a few streets away.
Make sure you bring cash and card. Also bring seats if you plan on watching the stage. There were no free seating in front of the stage. It would be helpful to have more free seating so people will stay longer to buy. I would have stayed longer if there were somewhere to sit other than the ground. I would have stayed longer to watch the stage, eat and drink.
Some vendors I bought from I would give a one star, Brewed Awakening. I would not to go back. I got a strawberry festival specials. A white chocolate strawberry dipped coffee flavor and a strawberry filled pastry. The coffee lacked flavor and the pastry was in a plastic bag. The coffee tasted burned and watery. Whatever frosting was on the pastry was stuck to the plastic. The pastry tasted a little old. Presentation looked awful and service lacked. I will not buy from them again.
There was a thrift store along the festival that only take cash. It looked very affordable but I soon as I saw cash only I walk out as soon as I walked in. It is sketchy when vendors or stores only take cash. I like a paper trail.
Some others like the Native American stand I loved their bead work on their jewelry. They deserve at least a 4 star for their beadwork and friendliness. They also take card.
There were about 3 permanent stores along the festival I enjoyed, The Little Pig store, The Traveling Gypsy and a Christian store. They were cute little stores they also take card.
I gave 2022 Strawberry Festival a 3 star because not all the vendors take card, almost no seating, and I didn't see any tables for eating. The vendors, the stores and restaurants on or around the festival is what made the festival enjoyable or...
Read moreGreat time,The elementary school band did an excellent job as well as all the other performers! The food was absolute delicious as always and the kids attraction with the dinosaurs was a big hit! All the street vendors were especially pleasing to deal with even the guy from the Democratic party... Why and what he was trying to accomplish was beyond me, but other than that he was pleasantly approachable.. Please don't just go off my opinion on the Democratic party, but as far as I am concerned, they're lost in limbo somewhere and have been hijacked by leftist Communist! Wake up people and research some on your own, You may be surprised what you can accomplish when you utilize that amazing brain that God...
Read moreWe drove an hour and a half to go to this festival… And we were hoping for everything strawberry. Unfortunately, there were very few things or activities related to strawberries. We felt like it was an opportunity really missed by the town to capitalize on its strawberry reputation. Plus, strawberries to buy were ridiculously expensive… Save your money for the grocery store. Lots of local vendors with other stuff to buy as well as plenty of food vendors. Parking wasn’t terrible and they did have good, clean Porta John’s.
If you’re looking for all things strawberry in a festival,...
