The Sparkle Barn — Local services in Wallingford

Okay, I attached pictures that hopefully make it hard to identify my friends; I don't have any pics of the outside that doesn't have people in them. There are a LOT of different places to take great pictures! I am sad to say that I didn't think of taking pictures for this review (I don't think to do reviews until the app prompts me). There are steel drums and 'Butterfly' drum instruments outside that are FREE to play with, so I did. There is a maypole down the hill by the right of the parking lot, haven't seen one of those since I was a grade school student. There was a gong on the hill before going down to the maypole, but the stand isn't placed in a way to allow the full sound of the gong to be heard, I found that holding the rope of the gong so it wasn't hitting the ground of base of the stand, the gong sounded BEAUTIFUL! It saddens me that the gong isn't set up better so that EVERYONE can hear the full sound. It took us a while BEFORE we went in the shop. Inside shop has a steel drum for sale, there are rooms chock full of stuff - I need to go back because I know I didn't see everything and we were there FOR HOURS! We went upstairs where it was like being shrunk, the butterfly hangings were huge, as were the fake flowers that adorned the whole place. The kid we were with likened it to being a Smurf and a a Fairy, I can see what they mean. It was REALLY cool to sit on the seats and swivel around, they looked like stationary seats until You sit. We had a LOT of fun upstairs and got some free magnets too. It was like going to a relatives place and seeing all the stuff they have, except they will let You buy the stuff of them. I REALLY enjoyed myself, as did my friends, we hope to go back again, bring other people and maybe add this to the place we bring our out of state friends (the friend in the picture was the one that wanted to see the place) I got there early, not on purpose, thankfully I was able to buy all the stuff I found and wanted but I do want to bring more friends here. I could spend all day in this store. It's such a beautiful & magical place! I remember seeing items i loved as a little girl. Now at 46 I have two amazing daughters that actually went here 1st with their aunt. When they came home & told me all about it & said I would absolutely love it, so I went & they definitely know their mama because they were right. I fell in love with this store with so much to look at in different directions of the store. I was like a kid in a candy store & it was like fireworks 🎆 for me. I definitely recommended...

I don't even know where to begin. This place is exactly as magical as you hope it will be. You'll look at all these pictures (as I did) and think, "Is it really that good? Would it reeeally be worth the drive?" As I, over two hours away did.

The answer is yes. It is worth it, it is that good and you should totally go and tell all of your friends too. I'm only going to dream of a full on fancy tea party in the bloom room forever now! There is beautiful, fun, whimsy and SPARKLE packed into every inch of this place and tons of amazing unique gifts and products.
