Walnut Grove Community Center — Local services in Walnut Grove

This is a park too. I have visited here more than a few times and my last visit yesterday i had noticed some changes good & bad. The area itself was fairly clean. They had attempted to fix the drive that goes through it., but there was some mess left behind. They have put in 2 new playgrounds. One for toddlers and one for children a tad older. The are restrooms here at the pavilion but i wasn't sure if you could access them. They have also put in a porta potty right in plain sight in the middle of everything & i dont know why? They had done a little landscaping. My husband went to the baseball field area and tennis court and he said several things were in disrepair and that they shouldve been fixed before all this other stuff was done. But my grandson enjoyed himself for a few hrs and maybe they'll fix those things so ppl can enjoy what they appear to offer.and i would also say i think that bcuz this is a community center & park, it would be nice to put in a coke machine that offers different sodas...

We arrived at 0900 this am with 2 people exiting the building so for the long wait there was none, after my partner and I gave them our DRIVERS LICENSE our names popped up saying we did the absentee ballot and both of us said no we had received them DID NOT request them, so they proceed to get on 5he phone I'm assuming to verify. We were told to have a seat while it was verified while in the meantime other people were coming thru that had received an absentee ballot because we asked and their names did not pop up on their screen! I felt totally humiliated and getting more upset as we continued to wait! After about 30 minutes, which would have been a in and out thing we were told it was okay! You know it wasn't okay, why were we pulled? The only reason a 1 star is for the people that was...
