We went on Friday evening to avoid the Labor Day Weekend crowds. Almost every home along the main access road offered $10 parking, which saved $5 vs. the cost at the "official" parking area. The line to get an ear of sweet corn at the flagship venue was ridiculously long, so we walked on up the hill to find that lots of food vendors knew how to fix an ear of corn, do it less expensively, and without the 30 minute wait line. Plenty of vendors all around the grounds were offering the typical variety of fair food, along with various contractors and businesses advertising their services. Not necessarily flavor-wise (the flavor was more sugary than actual flavor but still good). It was the ice for me; exactly like snow. I hate chunky ice in snowcones. The only negative was the bell they constantly rang letting patrons know there was corn ready. Omg...if you're a migraine sufferer, take this into consideration of what you'll need to bring with you if you decide to go. Overall, I had fun and I'd...
