Board Game Empire - Analog Store — Local services in Walnut

Analog is a media thrift store in a city known for their antiques in Iowa. It’s owned and run by a knowledgeable and friendly guy whose family and parents have town history and shops on the Main Street also.

Analog is one of my favorites so far in Walnut. I collect candy land games, sonic everything, pokemon, Wizard of Oz, vinyl, heck I found Pyrex in here once. They have decades of media history to enjoy and purchase. It’s really like walking into a gamer museum. Something new every time. Couldn’t recommend this store and owner and town enough.

Bought 2 video games and a record here, and one of the games was not the correct game and the record was the not the correct record. Guess it is my fault for not checking inside the box or the record sleeve but I shouldn’t have to. I don’t appreciate when a store puts a different game in a box or a different record in a sleeve that they don’t belong in. All the other stores in Walnut are awesome but I wouldn’t come back...

Impressive shop! The store is very clean and extremely well-organized. Has a ton of inventory -- vintage electronics, board games, vinyl, video games, DVDs, VHS tapes, 8-track cassettes, etc. All items looked to be in great condition. Very cool...
