Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Walpole

I love Ocean State. I'd give it 5 stars except the store looks filthy all the time. The floors are old and dingy, the racks are old and peeling and discolored, there are pallets in the aisles, and everything that the store is made up of is old cruddy junk throughout the store so it makes the store look bad (the merchandise itself is fine new stuff, just the racks, floors, walls, and everything around it all looks awful), but I LOVE the store and it is one of my favorite places to shop (maybe they just have the world's worst landlord and management who don't care about the property or presentation). The checkout is always on the slow side, but this time was extremely slow. But they always have what I want, and cheap, so it is hard to complain. Great garden section in the summer, good housewares section, good food section, decent pet section, great selection of rugs...

This is a great store. The unique foods I've found there - and so many all natural or organic - that are now part of my of my regular diet...when they have them, of course. Good selection of household products and tools, personal care, pet toys, weights, nice leather gloves, gardening & plant supplies, and on and on, and all at great prices. I've taken the Insider Deals and considering I do most of my shopping there, it only makes sense to take advantage. And the staff - they're great. Really helpful and pleasant. And they know that store - I ask them where I can find this one particular thing and without hesitation they give me directions or even walk me to the shelf. Today was my first time in a Job Lot store and I was pleasantly surprised. They have quite an array of inventory and stock. I was mostly in the food section. They had many known products and brands as well as some lesser known brands, which I like. They had many all natural options too and everything was very affordable. I would highly recommend checking it out. The store is a little cluttered, I will admit but for cheaper prices on quality, every day products, it's well...
