One-Star Review for Dollar General (Store #22368)

I had a frustrating experience at this Dollar General location. After spending $38.19, the cashier didn’t bag all my items. When I called to report it, she put me on hold to consult the manager, only to tell me the manager wouldn’t be in until tomorrow. It made no sense; if she needed to ask her, why not just take my number for a follow-up?

This isn’t my first issue here. The store is often poorly stocked, and when it is, the produce is spoiled. The staff is unwelcoming and doesn’t greet customers, making for a very unpleasant shopping experience. It seems like the store is frequently closed during hours it should be open.

I’m done shopping here. They really need to improve their service or consider closing down. If I could give zero...

So I drive all the way from Brunsonto this store today to do some couponing. I prefer this store bc it’s cleaner than most. Get what I need and finish and the system only took one coupon. I get done and ask to speak with manager. She just left they tell me. The key holder or whatever he is tells me that they don’t mess with the coupons. Hmmm…,sir it took one but none of the others. Tell me he can give me a full refund. No dude I want it made right. Needless to say tomorrow I will be calling to speak to manager. Really disappointed...
