Workshop13 — Local services in Ware

I had the honor of participating in Workshop13’s Northeast Fine Arts Exhibition, where I was thrilled to receive the Best in Show award. This experience highlighted just how special this organization truly is. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting artists from as far away as Philadelphia and surrounding states. Workshop13 is a gem in the arts community. Their gallery is beautifully curated, offering a professional and inspiring space that elevates the work of every artist who exhibits there. Beyond the exhibitions, their commitment to fostering creativity is remarkable, they provide a robust art education program that welcomes and supports artists of all ages and skill levels. From emerging talents to seasoned creators, everyone can find encouragement and growth through their classes, workshops, and community events. I have to edit my review because it doesn't do this place justice. Workshop13 has changed the temperature of Ware, in a really positive way. I can't say enough about what a tremendous resource this is to the community in addition to the surrounding ones. The role of arts and music in our society fills a void that we all need in order to enrich ourselves and our culture. I have been taking classes through the pottery studio and my kids have taken an assortment of youth programs, all affiliated in some form of the arts. Homeschooled for many years. My kid loves art and we enrolled her in Workshop13's Masters in the Morning program. When my child went into High School she was able to go into Honors Art in 9th grade. She reported to me that every subject in her art class she had at least a rudimentary grasp on because of Masters in The Morning. She ended the school year with a 96 in honors art.
